More than 7 in 10 contractors say they’d recommend their way of working

A survey conducted by Icon Accounting at the end of 2019 showed more than 70% of professional contractors would recommend the working lifestyle to other people, but that wasn’t the only positive feedback we received…

• 76% people say they’re either ‘certain’ or ‘fairly sure’ they would still be working as a contractor in 12 months’ time.
• Nearly half (48%) of respondents have had between 2 and 5 years’ experience contracting
• Almost half will have a week or more of a break over the festive season.
• And there was little evidence of ‘bah, humbug’ 77% of you were invited to the Christmas party at the company you are currently working with (we hope you behaved :p )
