Revenue Update - My Account to Replace PAYE Anytime

The Revenue Commissioners have just launched a new platform ‘MyAccount  which is the latest development in its recent overhaul of services. In late 2016 Revenue launched the new ‘RevApp’ with the simple function of enabling customers to manage their tax affairs “on the go”, however it appears many customers continued using the traditional PAYE Anytime Service, despite the inability to easily access the PAYE Anytime Services on mobile devices. As a result, Revenue have now introduced the new ‘MyAccount’ which features a more user-friendly function on mobile devices and tablets, allowing Contractors, and indeed all PAYE taxpayers, to engage more readily with Revenue to update tax credits, claim health expenses, update or declare rental income and request P21 statements plus many more useful functions. For any contractor currently using Revenue’s PAYE Anytime Service, it’s important to take action now and set up the new ‘ MyAccount’ as from the 19th June 2017, the PAYE Anytime Service will no longer be available. For all Contractors new to working in Ireland, alongside Irish tax residents who do not hold a P45 for 2017, it is now a requirement from the Revenue Commissioners that such individuals must register ‘MyAccount. For now,  we recommend to take a moment to download the free ‘RevApp’ and register with ‘MyAccount’ .
